I'm an SPCA volunteer, and am trying to revive our '89 Ford 150 van, AT w/300 strong engine. It starts well, then acts like it is fuel starved in about 2 seconds, runs rough and limps/dies. Fuel filter is new, no crud in old one, flow is good, so I think it's not tank to engine fuel delivery problem, and as it starts well, it must have good spark? Battery is good, charged, cables are new.Is there a fuel management control you'd look to first as the culprit? Sorry for sparse details, I'm a 1951 F1 wrench turner.
Thanks
