Coolant hose routing issue

Coolant hose routing issue
I have a 78 f150 custom 4x4. With the 300. Anyway i put hooker headers on it(which are a pain to get in by the way). Right behind the header tube, is a nipple for a coolant line. Should i cap it off or? Has anyone had this problem?

Agreed, need a picture to help understand the issue. When I put headers on my 300, there were several issues but coolant hose routing was not one of them. Also not sure what a nipple for a coolant line would look like - usually coolant taps are NPT plug fittings or barbed ends. The only thing I can think of in that area on a 300 is the spot for the temperature sending unit. Can't tell you what to do with it if we don't know what it is.

Sorry guys. I think i have figured it out though. When i bought these, i bought the entire truck so i could see how it was set up in there. The 300 they came off of had the hole plugged with an allen head screw. So i just put that onto my truck. I also think i had the barb there because my truck also had a block heater. Anyway, Thanks for the help!
