My headlights are now always staying on when the ignition is on rather than only when it is dark outside. it wouldn't be a big deal, but it dims my interior/exterior temp display to a point where I can't see it during the day. Especially when I'm wearing sun glasses. I've checked for a fuse but can't see one that's related. Could the sensor on the dash have died? Could the Texas sun have maybe burned it to a point it thinks it's always dark?
Just discovered FM 2 Works fine, regardless of station. FM 1 has static on every station. Figure that one out. Guess Ford's going to be installing a new GPS head unit. Maybe I can retro fit a newer year model.

Very strange, however most everything on these trucks is firmware driven. I had the SYNC module go brain dead on my truck a couple years ago. I disconnected the SYNC module for 15 min or so, plugged back in and all is good now. Before you go the dealer route I'd try disconnecting both battery grounds for an hour or so and see if that reboot fixes things. After such a reboot the transmission will be a bit odd as it relearns.

Thanks... I'll try that tonight. I think there's a master reset on my head unit too. I'll see what happens.
