is it a good move to get rid of leaf springs and replace with coil suspension for 1979 f-250 with 6" lift...

I have to agree with HIO here, what is the context of your asking the question? Are you experiencing driveability problems?

well from the eye it just looks like a smoother ride. my truck feels a bit stiff and even creaks like an old.....truck, when I go over large bumps. I also read that leaf springs crack with age.
