Stranded!

Went to pick up my truck at body shop. Truck gauges aren't working. Truck lumps at 2mph! Won't go any faster. Help please!

Tail gate and rear of the bed. My buddy borrowed my truck at dropped his 5th wheel trailer on it

I'm good now. A couple blown fuses! Body shop must have not disconnected battery! *******s!

^^^^Agreed....check the wire harness for the OD button. There is a good chance there is a bare wire and the potential to blow your fuse again. Fairly common issue that does not fix itself....it will happen again. Keep a bunch of spare fuses on hand until you check that wire harness.

I'm thinking that the body shop did some welding or something and didn't disconnect the batteries thus creating a power surge

Not likely. Welding on the vehicle isnt all that problematic. It's more likely that the wire in the steering head is the issue.

Usually if they weld without attaching a surge protector it will blow the diodes in the alternator. Been on the receiving end of that treat twice, first time was my fault, second time was a shops fault.
