check fuses? maybe fuse for od button/gauges blown
^^^^Agreed....check the wire harness for the OD button. There is a good chance there is a bare wire and the potential to blow your fuse again. Fairly common issue that does not fix itself....it will happen again. Keep a bunch of spare fuses on hand until you check that wire harness.
I'm thinking that the body shop did some welding or something and didn't disconnect the batteries thus creating a power surge
Usually if they weld without attaching a surge protector it will blow the diodes in the alternator. Been on the receiving end of that treat twice, first time was my fault, second time was a shops fault.
