I've gone through the thoughts over and over and while the engine is out..I can replace the tranny. I have a 4 speed granny now and its definitely seen better days. I have a c4 rebuilt with all heavy duty clutches and built for drag racing. Runs great..plus I don't have to get the torque converter and flexplate along with cooler. I could run a floor shifter and I'd need to solve the kickdown problem..any thoughts on this transmission?
