Certainly keep them clean. That is some sulfur from the batteries.

Any check brake system messages? Time to replace.

Motorcraft I think is still having a sale on 100 month batteries. Just had mine replaced.

If you don't keep those terminals clean you'll be replacing the whole cable. Expensive and a major pain in the a**. Not to mention the batteries.

Clean the terminals and paint them with chassis grease.

Clean with a wire brush, followed by a little bath in Pepsi cola, followed by water rinse. When dry, apply Fluid Film anti-corrosive/lubricant liberally.

Ok so I bought a little battery cleaning kit at the auto parts store last weekend and cleaned them and cables. In hind sight I should have just purchased a brush and stuff separately kit kind of sucked. The first couple days it started much better and during the day it starts strong but after about 4 days its starting kind of weak again just in the morning and rest of day no problem any ideas?
