Not to sure what going on with my truck . Its an 87 f150 302 . It only happens when you start it up . Once started you have to hold the gas peddle down to keep the rpms to around 1k for least 30 sec and then its find . If you don't do this then it will run for like 10 seconds and die . It seams to be worse when in reverse backing up . I have to double peddle it till i put it in drive . Now when the truck is running the rpm hand does bounce around a tiny bit when setting at like a red light . I bought a new tpi cuss with it running i can unplug it and nothing changes . Now i just got to get the time to put it on . It don't look like its a five min change . . i know the 302 is not the best motor but its what it has right now and its still running . been thanking of finding a 6.9 and doing a conversion on it in the near future
Within the last two mounts i have gave it a complete tune up and new transmission and torque converter . so whats is all of your guys thoughts .

If, and only If, your truck has a spout connector, it sounds like it is no longer there.
Should be located on the distributor.
