Hey guys I need help figuring out what codes im getting. I swear im going to get the electric code reader since mine works so good I cant even figure out what means what lol. Anyway I think I might be throwing an egr code but not sure. I turn it one KOEO and after the start up blinks and beeps I get 1111111332332. I think they break down as 111 111 13 32 33 2 or 11 11 11 133 233 2. The last number dosnt fit and I can never understand where it comes from or means. Thanks guys for any help you can give me.
I was thinking egr since the numbers I was getting. Im not sure how to really break them down since i could have a few diffrent things they could be. I have a code reader and can count the blinks but cant break them down to save my life. The truck runs fine but the check engine light will pop on and off and seem to go off. I thought it was transmission related since it seems to pop on when needing to shift and it revs at the high end before shifting from 3-4. Its not all the time which is odd to me. I read someone post about there egr and it seems the same thing check engine light pops on and off.
Ok, you need to WATCH the CEL very closely. When you initiate the test it's going to raise the RPM and you'll hear relays click on and off. Then the light will FLICKER, then blink 3 or 4 times depending on the engine, 3 for a 6cyl and 4 for an 8cyl. Then it will start to blink out codes. If it goes 'blink' 1sec 'blink' 1sec ('blink) that's a 11(1) or all clear. If it goes 'blink blink (blink)' 1sec 'blink blink blink' 1sec 'blink' 'blink'. That's a (3)32 code or EGR code. The parentheses are to separate the 2 and three digit codes.

111, 111 then a break (1). This means your KOEO tests completed successfully. The 1 afterwards indicates the system is now ready to display any stored codes from CM. Your CM codes are 332, 332.

You are describing KOER tests, it appears to me the OP is running KOEO and CM.
That's what I thought but how do I know if I get twos or three numbered codes?
Ford started to transition from two to three digit codes in 1991. How to tell which ones you get? Use a code reader or count the flashes then decipher which ones you have. From the flash display you listed you are getting three digit codes which is what I would expect from a 1992 equipped with an automatic transmission.
Thanks RLA2005. So it looks like im getting the 332 which accorrding to my book is an insufficent egr flow thats being stored in my contunious memeroy. So the next question is does that mean I have a bad egr valve or ive heard the pipping to the valve rotts out could that be the problem they are talking about? Also how do I clear the code from memory? Disconnect my battery for 10 minutes or so?
There is no way for the PCM on your 1992 F150 to measure EGR flow. That error for your truck means: EGR valve opening not detected.
The signal to the PCM comes from the EGR Valve Position (EVP) sensor on top of the EGR valve. The EGR is supplied vacuum via the EGR Valve Regulator (EVR). The vacuum sourced is from one of the vacuum ports on the intake manifold.
Since this is a code from memory I would suggested verifying the vacuum path and wiring to the EVP sensor. If those look good, clear the codes then drive the truck for awhile then re-check.
Ok after reading the two articles provided and I wanted to look up what I was looking for price wise if I found something that has to be replaced so I know what im looking at. Well While doing that I came across the egr canisters, I believe thats what there called. Anyway My question is could my coffee can be causing this problem? I know it has holes in it and I wrapped it in duct tape for the time being. Just wondering if maybe that is why the light is going on and off?
