I'm not a fan of the 78/79 fishmouth grill either.. but good luck finding a decent grill shell. They're few and far between in my area.

Yea i know a beat up peice of... Is easy to find lol but a nice one yep hard. Rare like mr clean with hair. But if i had to choose from a 78 or 79 grill hav to be 78 the round head lights make it tolerable. But still not a fan. The round headlights make them trucks look tough.

I've got a 78/79 grill in my 77 now and I'm switching back to the 73-77 grill but I want to keep the square head lights. should be fun trying to lower the buckets & cutting the inserts to make it work.
You missed out some one snagged my extra grill shell out from under my topper shell out back this summer. it wasnt perfect but it wasnt bad either

I'm putting my 77 grill back in just not with the bug eye round head lights. I've never liked my 78/79 grill's open center but it was what I could get when my friend worked for ford years ago. But I'd be my than happy to keep a eye out for a grill shell for ya. their was a decent one at the local JY the other day when I was out their. I need another chrome trimmed black door panel and a couple other odds & ends for my truck so I stop out their atleast once a week to see if their's any new dent side's in their. some one junked out 2 broncos a couple weeks ago so if any of you Lincoln/omaha guys are reading this and you want some factory daul shock set up's or sway bar's well now you know where to go for a pair. no tilt wheels or delayed wipers tho both already missing & on Ebay I'm sure

The anodized aluminum grille shell is the same: 1973/77 F100/350 / 1973/75 R & L (specific) plastic grille inserts are the same / 1976/77 R & L (specific) plastic grille inserts are a different style.

There is more than just one type of parking light.

1973, 1974 before serial number T80,001: The lens (R/L same) is separate from the R/L (same) metal body, screws are used to attach it. The metal bulb socket is swagged into the body.

1974 from serial number T80,001, 1975/77: The R/L (same) parklamp is a one piece molded plastic assembly, two different types were used in 1976. The individual plastic socket twists into the body.

1974 from serial number T80,001, 1975, 1976 before serial number C50,001: The one piece parklamp has a clear lens, uses an amber bulb (1157NA).

1976 from serial number C50,001, 1977: The one piece parklamp has an amber lens, uses a clear bulb (1157).

What part are you calling grille "trim?" There isn't any.

By trim i mean grill shell. Yes i know 73-77 use same shells. The inserts and light bezels are diff. 73-75 has grill peices that go past the lights 76/77 has a solid peice smooth plastic behind head lights and grill stops before lights and parks light were white on 73-75 trucks 76/77 trucks were amber color.

Some 1976's have clear lenses (before serial number C50,001). Some 1976's have amber lenses (from serial number C50,001).
