Got the oil and filter changed today. Topped off the front end, transfer case, and rear end. Stripped out the horrible smelly carpet. Got the rear window working. Gear was stripped, switched it out with another one I had.
Gonna take some of the better parts on this one and put on my 78(camo). Gonna use the 79(red) to play in.

Put the 5.8 into it's new home in the '91. discovered the exhaust flanges are different on the '94. and wider as well. ( 5.0-5.8) Guess I'll sawzall the exhaust off and weld in the '94 pipes.

I just went out and crawled under mine as Encho said I had a full time
203 case. I have an NP208F. Anyone know for sure if that is a full time
case or not? I don't remember my front shaft still turning with the locking
hubs out. But he has me wondering so the next time I move it I will check.

The NP208 is a part-time aluminum case, low range should be around 2.6:1, the only way you could have won MPG swapping the hubs was if the autos were actually stuck.

How I want a 78/9 along with my 96... And a 97 OBS CCLB. You know the typical long lottery list.

Dropped it off at a very reputable local transmission shop. Getting a new tranny put in and having then rear differential fixed and having them figure out what the clunking is when I hit the gas and come to complete stop. I won't have it for at least a week.

Today I hauled a half full 6,000# land scape trailer ~100 miles. It pulled nicely and with the 4.10s it didn't have an issue taking off, but of course I was worried with the broken spring hangers about the weight.. no issues.

Got the NP205 twin stick shifter today from JBG. Installed it on my ZF/205 combo. Shift rail modification was easy, need to cut a longer all-thread for one lever.(Included in kit) It shifts nice! Can't wait to try it out! Maybe I can get this combo installed yet this weekend.

Got some Sterling 10.25 disc brackets from Ruffstuffspecialties.com and they didn't come with spacers. Anyone know where I can get a spacer since I have a 95' axle which is when they changed the outer axle bearing thickness requiring 1/8th spacer.

Also hauled a 8000lb work trailer on my new hangers and was quite surprised to see the truck sat level. (Pic to come)

I managed to pile another box of crap on top of the engine as it still sits in the garage. One of these days I need to try and work on it...

I'm getting a bit frustrated. Been trying to get the wiring hooked up on this engine, ('94 engine, '91 bronco) if I don't get these wires figured out I may end up pulling engine harness and going back to the '91 engine harness!
I reinstalled the hood and aligned it, tapped out a couple dents, scrubbed the heck out of the interior, Looks almost new again! Having troubles getting the correct wheel studs for the 10.25 axle so I will bw taking the hub in and trying studs on it Monday.
