Aviation Fuel
No kidding, my brother in law is a shade tree airplane mechanic. He's running a 50-50 mix of jet fuel (assuming Jet A) and diesel in his Duramax. He says it has not been a problem and the temps on all sides run cooler. He uses an additive as well. I cant believe its still running.
Obviously the Jet A is free to him.
You guys will have great opinions on this I'm certain.

In my older days as an Aviation Support Equipment Mech (Navy) we have been running JP-5 or JP-8 (Jet Fuel) in equipment for at least 25 years that I know of without any problems. Less comtination because it is highly filtered (no water or trash problems). While working at a regional airport the fuel trucks and other equipment, ran on Jet-A. . Diesel fuel and jet fuel are pretty much the same, with the exception of lubrication additives. Howevre I don't think I would put it in a newer diesel with todays emission controls
