the missing 6.0

Ok I was told 2 check the ficm on my 04 6.0...I checked it and with the key on it showed 48 volts been when I cranked the truck and had it runin the ficm only showed 20 volts... Does this mean the ficm is bad????

Yes

FICM should never dip below 47.5 volts. I'd talk to Ed @ FICMrepair.com

The FICM power supply has four channels with high power FET's to supply the current and voltage to run the injector solenoids. If one or more channels fail, you can still see the proper 48 volts when the engine isn't running, but as soon as it tries to supply current to the injectors the voltage drops. Low voltage means the injectors will fail very quickly. After you get the FICM replaced/repaired, do a cylinder contribution test to see if any of the injectors have failed.
