Well the time has come to buy tires for my rig...
I was curious and want some input on tire selection. I was thinking of going with some MT rated tires with very aggressive treads for plowing in the winter.
How do the aggressive treads wear on the pavement though? If they wear too fast i may just stick with All terrain tires.
Nitto Trail Grapplers are an M+S rated M/T tire, I've used them on snow and ice and they're fine under a truck as heavy as a SD. With a plow, and either a spreader or counterweight they'll stick in the winter.
BFG A/T KOs have the snowflake rating in certain sizes, those are always a good A/T tire to fall back on, but they're not an M/T.
