Lost For Words!

I know I haven't been a real active member but I do read all the threads I can and admire everyone's dedication to their projects. Over the past few months we've been busy with our own project and seem to be making progress before winter sets in but today as we finished up some cab priming and entered the house we learn that our best friend and close relative had just passed away. He had a strong hotrod enthusiasm that carried him through many projects, his latest posted below at the Ardmore Show. I'm beside my self as he was a real inspiration that got me re involved in my own project after many years of neglect. He loved racing and was involved in our locale drag race track and car show community.
His absence to me and community will surely leave a whole in our heart.

So sorry for your news. The death of a good friend is hard to bear. We will be praying for you and your family. Praying that the good memories you have will help to fill the hole.

Sorry for your loss, Smitty.

I lost one of my best friends to a car accident 2 weeks ago.

When something like this happens, we tend to renew our commitments to certain things in life that matter.

Sorry to hear about your loss Smitty and Havi.

I think it was George Bernard Shaw who said....we can quit smoking, drinking and eating rich foods and we may not live years longer....it just seems that way!

I guess that's my way of saying that I hope your friends lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute that they had with us.

It's always tough and all you can do is hang on. Somebody once said that "shared sorrow is half-sorrow - shared joy is double joy".
