Has anyone else noticed

I really just started using my 2005 v10 ex, full time , it's been garage kept since I have had it till now. I use it all the time and it's been staying out in the sun, has anyone noticed that lives in high temperature areas that tHe grease on some of the interior parts under the dash just liquefy and drip onto the floor. Cleaned my weather tech floor mat the other day and noticed big stain on drivers side mat and looked up realized it was coming off brake pedal but further looking was coming off return coil spring on brake pedal, just wondering if anyone else noticed this, thanks, Paul

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and the temperature can get to 120* out side, which mean the interior of the car can get to much higher... Haven't notice any grease leaks under the dash. Maybe it has all leaks out before I bougth the EX.

I'm in southern NJ and store my truck in an enclosed barn that gets pretty hot, no grease melting. Are you sure it's not a leak?

I live in Arizona and it gets up to 115* in the summer. Never had this problem.

My rear view mirror had something like that happen! Its like a thick glue dripping from the bottom of it making a spot on my carpet, also the "auto dimming feature" stopped working. I thought I was crazy! im glad to know someone else had a strange issue like this!

I've never had anything drip before, but I have noticed the brake pedal makes a louder suction noise when I let off, which never seemed to happen before. I don't know what is causing it- I've been meaning to look at it, but I haven't yet.

I live in Quebec, Canada and even though some of you might think I live in an igloo, we've had 90-110 temps for the last 2 months. None of this has happened to me.

I think you have a leak that just happened to coincide with parking the Ex outside. You need to get this figured out. It is either the brake system (brake fluid) or it is the hydraulic power booster (power steering fluid). If the fluid is red, I would say power booster. If it is amber, it is brake fluid.

The heat is not a reason for anything to not function right. Vehicles are made for the entire range. Things can break at around zero degrees though, like fan belts etc.

Thanks guys for all the input, I keep looking at the leak, and checking on it, it's not red, like ps fluid, it's kind of yellow, but I'm pretty sure it's not brake fluid cause I tasted it , just a drop, and it don't taste like brake fluid, that stuff tastes BAD,, looked at the coiled spring for the return on the brake pedal and it's packed with a yellowish grease and it looks like it just started to liquefy a little and has virtually no taste at all. Thanks again. Paul

I had this exact problem. Grease from the break pedal. I did take it to the dealer, but it was just extra grease dripping, no problem.
