This is not my truck I the video but my 03 f350 5.4 has the same issue. Front passanger side axle us flopping around. Clanking over bumps is driving me crazy. Is this due to a bad hub or needle bearings? My dust seals are hanging like most of yours. I guess I'm just trying to figure out if I need just a needle bearing, a new entire wheel bearing assembally or am I going to have to dig in and do ujoints, inner and outer shafts and seals???????

My axle looks just like that. Lots of play and some HORRIBLE grinding noise. Any good write ups on how to replace that front unit bearing? Thanks.

im gonna say that the needle bearing is no good...... BUT i installed new ball joints, new dust seals, new oil seal(the big one behind the unit bearing) new u-joints, and new needle bearings and my axle still has a little play in it. no where near as bad as in your videos but just enough to jiggle when i grab it. I left it alone since EVERYTHING is new.........
