Listen to what the doctors say. I snapped an Achilles tendon when a snowboard jump went wrong, got it put back together, then put too much weight on it after 6 weeks even with the plastic cast still on and snapped it again. The next time I took more care and got back onto the snowboard 6 months after the initial break.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend!! 5 nights camping during the last week wore us out. Went to 2 different parks not too far from the house. Two other members of our camping club joined us and we had a great time. Only one day with rain and the next few days were picture perfect. Heading to a seafood boil this evening with the camping group and tomorrow it's down to Grand Isle to see daughter and son in laws new fishing camp they bought. Jazz Fest is going on in New Orleans and trying to avoid the crowds in that area!! Have a great weekend everyone.

Busy day today...wife went up to see my daughter. They are going to a bridal show on Sunday. Plus they got a new puppy and Linda wanted to see it. I stayed home to watch our puppers.
I also converted the John Deer from winter to summer and cut the grass. Looks really nice. I also made a couple of steps to the camper.

Last Saturday I sold my 1971 Chebby that I did a complete restoration on, I did very well on the sale, I had it listed for 50k and sold it for 44k,
so yesterday I purchased a 1971 Plymouth Duster 340 4-speed, it's plum crazy purple , it's out East on Prince Edward Island, I got it sight unseen, the 20k price was right so I took a chance, it's being delivered here on Weds .... I'm very excited .......... pics to follow

This is what a person I may or may not know found when he showed up at Odell Lake 19 miles from the house early this morning. He thought he might go Kokanee fishing this morning. It wasn't me! I was providing moral support and then came back to the house and played on the computer. Took him an hour to get it ready to sail.
Dedication to the sport of fishing. Took him an hour to the boat cleaned up and ready to go. I'm grounded from fishing and any other strenuous activity and lifting over 8 lbs for another 3 weeks and 5 days.

Howdy folks! I was up in Casper this weekend helping my brother move tools from the borrowed tool truck to his tool truck, which was in the shop for almost five months due to an accident. The lift gate didn't want to work using the remote control. I found a hidden switch on the inside which worked OK until this morning, then nothing worked. Myself and a couple of my brother's friends dug into the issue and found a set of fuses inside the back bumper. Two 20 amp fuses and one 2 amp fuse were all blown. Not a very convenient place to put fuses.
I got to drive the tool truck! The Cummins engine is kind of a dog. I had it floored going up a hill and it was losing speed. It wouldn't produce more than 20 lbs of boost. The truck was full of tools, maybe 24k lbs total weight.
I brought home a dead blow hammer kit and a hose cutter. The cutter will probably come in handy when I work on the camper's fuel tank debacle.
Jon, good luck with the surgery. Congratulations on the foal.
Gerry, congratulations on the sale and purchase.
