Definitely need a heated work bench!
I need to mow too, as the clover is growing in very thick. The rye grass is nice and green, but the regular grass is still brown. The problem is, there's no way for me to get a mower of any variety out of the shed and cruise the lawn since it's still either under water, or fully saturated. Even walking around in the drier areas of my yard or pasture will have you sinking up to your ankles. Thankfully, rain is in the forecast again within the next few days, so we are not yet starting the next drought.

Soft warm bed is better......

Trying to get the gas line run into Heavy D's house. I sent the check in several months ago. Dominion Energy called Friday and want to surcharge the job because they said there was "Frost in the ground"
I told them I would dig it and they could just come back and run gas line. So we dug it today. Maybe 2-3" of frost . It was a piece of cake to dig.
After the 5° temps last week, They are forecasting that we will hit 44° tomorrow. I scraped off a lot of the snow. Hopefully the sun will melt off what is left and make it easier to drive up closer to the house to unload tools.
Masons are booking on getting rock laid.
That means I'll have to get outside and start putting the barn wood on for the siding.

Mornin' Gang!
Swamp Don, a cool front blew through here overnight. No rain, but lower humidity and cooler temps are nice.
Jon, perhaps if they had dug the line when you gave them the check, there wouldn't have been frost? Glad it wasn't too much trouble for you to dig it. It's going to be nice when finished.
Gerry, another snow day for you today?
Have a great day all.

Morning gentlemen!! Yep, Mother Nature could sure use some new menopause drugs!! It's been in the high 60s here the last two days and going to be a high of 45 today with a horrible wind. It's actually already started. Then comes the cold rain over the weekend with snowfall predicted in the higher elevations of the state. Georgia's weather changes every 24 hours if it lasts that long.
Thank you guys for the well wishes for Trent. He went back to college on Monday, but my dad drove him as he wasn't cleared to drive then. He's doing well, but tires pretty easily and with me being off today, I'm gonna take him as it's only 28 miles from home. My dad may even ride with us. His classes are very scattered this semester from the parking lot, so if I drop him off at the buildings, he won't have to exert all that energy he's rebuilding to walk. I'm sure by Friday he will be doing fine, just still on restrictions as to not lifting over 10 pounds for the next 3 weeks.
Love the idea of the vapor barrier on the house Jon, that's pretty cool.
Jon, I put a Viair compressor under my truck with Firestone dual pneumatic gauge under the dash wired into the Upfitter switch so I can adjust the airbags independently on the run. The gauge is a little pricey at around $200 bucks(comes in black or white faces), but decided to go that way as AirLift compressors don't last very long here either due to a lot of condensation.
Have a great day guys!
