Hi guys! Today's temps here were around 95* and HOT as h**l!!! They are promising a break after Tuesday that is supposed to drop the temps to around 80 with 80% chance of rain for the remainder of the week.

Roy, yep, we are still in summer mode here and it stinks!!!

Swamp Don, have a great trip.

Gerry, I'm sure we will pay for this later in the year.

Have a good one gang!

My wife's cousin gave me a mower and two weed eaters with various add-on implements of destruction. I'm trying to get the mower running again. I already drained the fuel tank but it looks like I need to replace the fuel line and give the fuel tank a good cleaning. The engine fires when I use starting fluid but without the starting fluid I get nothing. I took apart and cleaned the carb once.

Warden made me fire up the pellet stove today. It was 65 in the living room, but she was chilly. Put the ceiling fan in reverse and started it up, and it threw a blade at me. Now I have to order a replacement mounting iron that broke. Never had that happen before. Sure glad my reflexes are still sharp enough to duck in time.

Definitely a WTF moment. Normally, I would blame the cat.

I would too, but this time I thought I would try and blame it on our #1 son having a wild drunken kegger at our house while we were gone and he was housesitting.... .

The critters are all doing well. The guard sheep is still around. He and the goat hang out in a pen together. I had to throw both of them to the ground a couple of weeks ago to trim their feet. Neither was thrilled about it at first, but after a couple of minutes, they settle and enjoy the pedicure.

Tim Y, cool pics!

Jim, that’s one long rolling violation. Glad they got pulled over before something went terribly wrong.
