Howdy guys!!

Glad you finally finished with your trailer Roy.
Real hot and humid today so my grandson helped me wash the trailer. Glad to be able to do it when its still under the cover. I've been using the Carolina Wash and Wax which seems to do a good job.

Good evening, crew of deplorables!!
All is wellin sunny AZ!! Well,I managed to get some of the guys off their azz for a late evening/ night ride a couple nights ago!! I know....old farts bed time is like 7:30 PM!!! But, it was a nice evening so we rode up to Lake Mead via the Hualapai Wash, near Meadview, AZ. It turned out to be a great evening, and I had all the geezers home by 11PM or 2300hrs for all you military types!!!

Good morning guys!

Darren, safe travels brother...have a great time

Nice job Roy! I'm happy for you.

Jon, I'm hungry already!

Don, the Solitude looks NEW! The steaks look delicious!

Don, thanks for sharing the pics of your adventures! I live vicariously through them

My boys are home! I missed them so much! I ended up clay baring, rubbing compound, and waxing their Jeep for them while they rested Saturday afternoon. It was so HOT. I'm too old for this! Have a great week all!

That sounds very tasty Roy! I have been putting off waxing my truck all summer. I need to get on it. I've done wifey's, daughter's and boys vehicles. I need to get the fiat done. I clayed it already so half the battle is done.

Too hot to wax trucks around here. Supposed to 100° this week with 5% humidity and 20 mph winds.
Fire danger is off the charts and all the TV stations are pleading with folks to forgo any fireworks for the 4th

Area I have hunted for most of my life has burned. As of Sunday they claimed 6600 acres were burnt. But tonight say the fire has exploded and consumed 3 canyons. Sad to see all those memories gone. I wonder if I'll be able to see my initials in any of the Quakie trees after fire. I have not carved any trees up for many years, But 50+ years ago, I left my mark on a few and it was always fun to see my handiwork decades later.

We rode by the Trail canyon fire on Saturday and watched helicopters dip water and haul it over the mountain to drop on that fire.

The area we rode must have burned 4-5 years ago, Forest is rebounding, New growth popping up in the midst of the blackend skelatons of burned trees.

My gelding napping while I ate lunch on the ridge top. There were a few old Arborglyphics in the quakies to the far left of the phot. Some dating back to 40's

I had that saddle built this past winter by a saddlemaker in Rexburg Idaho. He custom makes every part. He makes a custom tree for foxtrotters, he bend the metal to make custom stirrups etc
It was expensive but I figured I earned a few indulgences in life

Yup, I remember you showing pics when you first got it!

Good morning, rest of crew! All is well in sunny AZ this morning. Getting ready to make a trip to the Northland in a few days. Wheel bearings all re-packed in the Raptor, gotta change oil in the RZR before I go, throw a couple fishing poles in and a few changes of clothing, etc.
I wasn’t going to leave until about the 13th, but it got bumped up to like the 5th or 6th, so now I kinda need to hurry it up a bit.

All have a great day......stay safe on the 4th!!! Later.

Anything, anywhere I find. I will be in these great western states where if there is a road there, and the buggy is licensed one can pretty much go anywhere unless restricted(NV, ID, MT, ND, SD, WY, UT)!! If my timing is correct, I *MAY* be able to hook up with Jim (HTRKD) in Moab on my return trip. Then he and I can have a mini GTG and see each other face to face.
