This is prolly a 1 page thread at most
Got some mods done on the RV. Had a small water leak when pressure filling last month and took the access panel off to investigate. That got fixed under warranty, but every RV I've had that dumb panel comes off at least twice a year, and saw more dead space than usual. Decided to kill two birds with one stone.
View into storage from factory.
The dead space.
Much more useful space (sorry... crappy pic)
Access panel is now hinged, used magnetic latches to keep closed.
Already has saved me unscrewing it once, since the clowns at the dealer screwed up a pex fitting fixing the faulty valve. Which we only discovered since they put two of the valves ***** on backwards.

Went out for a easy saturday that turned into a event. Snagged a stirrup in a bridge and the horse fell off the bridge with sudden stop. While I was trying to undo the saddle , the horse moved and knocked me into the river. It was snow melt water and the cold was shocking. but I got back up and got the horse free with the help of some friends. Wrung out my cloths and put them back on and finished the ride. Although I was pretty cold.
If any of you want a good laugh, you can watch my Youtube video of me getting dunked here.

Wow...that could have gotten really ugly, Jon! Glad you and the horse are ok
Good morning guys!
Chad, nice job on freeing up more space. They sure wasted some from the factory.
Roy, I cringe every time my glasses aren't caught up to my eyesight. I know I'll need a mortgage to get new glasses,
Dak, I like to argue with Siri. It's kind of a one way thing, but still satisfying

Nope! I wasn't laughing either. Glad neither of you were hurt.
Just another rainy day in Georgia! Expected to get up to 3" from Monday through Wednesday, but they've just updated it and now we are supposed to get up to 4" today and tonight!! You would know I am working
Hope all is well guys. Just doing a little catching up.

Chad .........I like your hinged panel "fix". I will steal that Idea !!
It is a shame that most shop people can't think through and repair....and then don't ever test it.

Serviced the genset on the camper and mounted up the G614s today.
Of course the boneheads at the dealer who ordered the wheel i needed were quite proud of themselves when they told me the wheel had some light scratches and sent it back. So I'm stuck using an ugly steel wheel this weekend.

Howdy Gang! After much reading, I have finally caught up.
Jodi and I enjoyed our weekend tent-camping trip, although the weather could have been more cooperative. We dodged a few storms while camped, and had to retreat to the truck a couple of times. It was also very hot and muggy. At least we had plenty of refreshing beverages on hand.
I ordered new wheels, tires and valves stems for my RV last week, and they arrived a few days ago. I will get them mounted up soon, then we have to plan when to go to OK to install the wheels, and drag the RV to our home and begin working on making it usable again. Our next camping trip ought to involve shelter from rain and cold a/c to fight the heat and humidity.
Glad everyone seems to be doing well for the most part - especially Jon and the horse! I am surprised at how little activity the forum has seen in the last 5 days, so I assume everyone is out recreating.
Chad, I ordered plain Jane white wheels for mine, and Maxxis tyres in the appropriate size in 10 ply, but have yet to open the shipping boxes to check for any damage. Regardless, they will be far better than what it on my rig currently.
Have a great evening gang!
