When people ask me about my 6.7, I have a great comparison to offer them especially if they have ever owned a 6.0. When we go to Disney in Florida, the 6.7 tows my toy hauler flat out like a champ at whatever speed I want to run. The only thing we stop for is fuel every 4.5 to 5 hours. The only worries I have the entire 930 mile trip is the tires on the trailer.
If I were making the same trip with my old 6.0, I would have been worried sick the entire time constantly watching the oil, coolant and exhaust temps just waiting for a disaster. I probably would have stopped several times to add coolant! There is no way I would have trusted that truck even at its best to tow that load any kind of distance. For the most part with a 6.7 you weld the hood shut and plant your right foot flat on the floor and let her eat. I love gauges, but the 6.7 don't need no stinkin gauges!
Iowa Ford - 10 Characters is the minimum number of characters you need to post. Try to post something less than 10 characters and you get an error. "Post must be at least 10 characters". So for sarcasm people make a short reply and add "10 Characters" to the end of the post....
