Holiday monday up here. Showed my youngest son how to do the front rotors n pads on his Jetta, he had a warped rotor. Then attempted the same on my wifes Magnum. Sheared a caliper bracket bolt on the first side I started on. Second attempt at getting it out by welding a nut onto the stub worked. Then I tried to get the slide pins out and sheared one of those off so now I need a new bracket anyway. These Dodge parts rust up within months it seems. Nothing was open today so tomorrow I'll see if there's aftermarket for them, don't want to pay stealer prices.

Yep - the mechanics at my job curse the Dodges all day long because of stupid stuff like that. They'd rather work on Fords and Chevy's instead.
I'm starting to understand the Chrysler rust. Wife's Wrangler is a year old, has never been in the salt and she usually drives the 4Runner when it rains yet the frame and running gear is starting to show rust spots. Undercarriage paint sounds like good Summer work for a 14 year old boy!
Plus Ram mirrors are still too small in either position
Right Gerry, poorly designed and undersized.

...and yet the cling to that poor design....maybe 'cus they don't want to copy a Ford design....again.

Thanks Gerry. It took the great state of Illinois longer to make a me custom license plate than it did Ford to build you a custom truck.
