Dizzy gear location....

Thought I would pass this along to you guys...you might want to download this pic for future reference....

The proper location of the dizzy gear is important. Not only can it bind up the dizzy shaft if mounted too low which could shear the pin, but also if mounted too high cause eratic timing problems....

Good infromation thanks!

Also if the Dizzy gear is not located correctly it will get chewed to NOTHING in a matter of miles... The dizzy gear needs to be at the correct height to mesh correctly with the cam gear. The idiot that built my first 460 never checked this so I toasted the gear. I personally checked it and ensured that the dizzy gear meshed correctly the 2nd time around.
