To me, it's worth the effort. I just don't like automatics, never have, hopefully never will. My '68 is a stick with O/D, my '72 is a C6 (because it came that way) but if I were to keep the '72 on the road instead of parting it I would convert it to manual. Heck, I converted my Range Rover to manual trans and it's more fun to drive than it ever was with the auto. Besides, it's really sort of a fun process. (To me, anyway...)

I like automatics well enough, but manuals are a heck of ALOT (just for you Tiger more fun. Good for haulin, and racin, and muddin!

If this was a Mustang, or Camaro, or Chevelle, or GTO, or Trans Am, or anything like that, I would be putting a manual in it. But it's not, so I'm not.
