Machanic charge?
i bought a 2000 EB expediton needed some machanical work , found a machanic has his own garage . I thought it needed a head gasket job , so far its lookingt more like a intake manifold gasket . What is a fair price , he ask for money up front for parts . He has done work on it before this .He has already did work on it equaling 1200$ new radiator, water pump , a coulpe of coil overs . it had a overheating problem

he thought is was to , but i drove it up to his shop with no problems no over heating , a few days i started it and it was blowing out white smoke , today nothing i thinks a leaky intake manifold gasket , cause a code come up with the check engine light is on p0301 misfire , he doesnt beieve its a head gasket , he said he would fix the intake manifold gasket anr replace the head cover gaskets all for 310$ labor included
