Unhappy Blown Intake gasket?

1978 F150, 351M400 engine. This morning it started spewing coolant from the junction between the intake manifold and the left head, near the thermostat housing. My diagnosis is a blown intake manifold gasket based on the location. There are no visible cracks in the intake or the head. My concern is that I did not know that there was water in that area, I had always heard that those intakes were dry. I also checked the oil, there is no water in it so i assume the head gasket is okay. Any input? Am I on the right track assuming the gasket is blown and just needs to be replaced? Why would coolant be coming out from THERE?

it inpossiable to be a blown intake manifold gasket cause there is NO collant passages it the intake of the 351m/400 more like a blown head gasket is shot

Thanks for your reply. What we both overlooked was the blown heater hose directly adjacent to the manifold. MUCH cheaper than a head gasket!
