Any fly fishermen in the crowd?
I just put new line and leader on my reel today....it's been 2 years since I have used it. I am stoked to get back to the river.
Last summer I was broke and the summer before I was in Ireland, so I haven't been able to go until recently.

You bet! I tried my favorite lake last week - rivers won't open until next weekend - the lake had about 40 ft of open water around the shore, but most was still iced in.
Artic grayling, west-slope cutthroat trout, kokanee salmon and rainbows.....I gotta go get the camper ready.
Get out there and thrash the waters Big Daddy, you need the therapy!

Wow Tim that sounds familiar. I have been fly fishing for about four years and I fly my own ties. 
The trout here bite on anything that floats, I've had them bite on cigarette butts. I fish the Big Hole, the Bighorn, Mystic Lake, Jahnke Lake, Deadmans Basin, the Yellowstone river, Tongue River Reservoir, it's all good!

I went after work today to a lake in town, but I didn't hook into anything. It's cool though, I just wanted to work some of the rust out and practice my cast....
I'll catch some big trout Memorial Day, though...I'll post some pics.
