Higher EGTs whats wrong

I noticed towing my racecar my truck seemed alittle down on power and the egts were about 150 to 200 degrees higher than normal. Truck still makes the 22psi on my dptuner 60hp tow tune, but the boost comes up slow and just gets to 22psi right before it shifts. Last fall in did the HPx, FRx, IC boots, plenum inserts, 50 cent mod, and torqued the rockers and injector hold downs. Other mods are downpipe and exhaust, and intake.
I don't see or hear any leaks, maybe up pipes are leaking??? What do you guys think?

More than likely up-pipes leaking. Look at them for soot!

Where are they more prone to leak, at the manifold or at the turbo?

Turbo because of the donuts. The fix is to get new uppies from riffraff.

Unless the funds are not there you could just relocate the gaskets and be good to go again for a lot cheaper but know you will be doing them again. I just changed mine because the uppipes were too far out of reach for my wallet at the time. Once you do the gaskets you'll know better than to want to do it a second time. Not a hard job at all but time consuming for sure. I swapped turbos when I did mine

Yup... So long as the up pipes are not too galled out you can just throw new doughnuts at it and be good to go.

Possible boost leak on one or more of your boots also. What's the outside temps been? Has been 100+ here for over a month now.

Very good point! Hot air means hotter EGT's and lower boost numbers!

It was nice out when I towed last, only about 80 degrees outside temp. Thinking I might just do new donut gaskets, the have lasted 139k and do the EBV delete and a wheel while I got the turbo out.
Can I leave the pipes attached to the manifolds and change the gaskets?

I did a pressure check when I got home from work this morning, pumped up to 15 psi and no leaks. Looked at the up pipes at the turbo and can't see any soot on what I can see of the pipes and nothing on the firewall. But I mostly run the 60hp tow tune and it doesn't smoke, if that makes a difference.
I also noticed that the ends of the wheel on the charger look funny, like some of the corners are broke off, no end play or side to side movement and it spins ok, like 3 or 4 revolution if you spin it with your fingers.

Wonder if the the EBV is not shutting all the way, could be my problem. I do have the pesky oil leak that runs down by the starter, not bad, maybe a quarter size drip over a weeks time.

I don't know what tuner you have but when I got my DP I was going to use 60T on my fiver. But when I hit my first set of small hills my EGT started to climb pretty good. Fig I would be in trouble when I got to my big climb so I put it in 40T and made the climb with plenty of power and EGT's were spot on!! I use the 60T on the flats with no problem.
