I bought a Mega Monster TH400 that is supposed to handle up to 950 HP from them back in 2005 for my 1972 Corvette. The reverse servo didn't work and it cost me another $300.00 bucks to have it fixed. They used to claim they dyno tested them before they shipped, but I don't believe that.
I have no idea if it has all of the heavy duty parts that are claimed to be installed, but so far I've had it behind two different strong 383 engines and it has held up. I would probably by a transmission through Summit Racing next time before I would buy from Monster.
