Looking at 05 Navigator...
130k miles/ Limited Edition.
Rust on radiator core support at frame mounts-severe.
Is this a common problem?
At stoplight while in gear, notice a vibration that pretty much goes away when tranny is set to neutral.
Tranny was supposedely rebuilt at 110k...... (4 wheel drive)
Owner replaced spark plugs recently, not a misfire (presently have two E-350 vans; know THAT feeling)

Yes it is a fairly common in your area.
At stoplight while in gear, notice a vibration that pretty much goes away when tranny is set to neutral.
It is likely a vacuum leak, check all of the vacuum hoses and related elbows.
Tranny was supposedely rebuilt at 110k...... (4 wheel drive)
Ask for reciepts, trust but verify.

You should only consider wholesale, fair condition as a basic guide and deduct the cost of repairing or replacing each deficiency in the truck. Speak to the best Lincoln dealership body shop for a price to replace the radiator support and deduct that from the price of the truck. That is pretty much standard practice whenever a dealer appraises a vehicle for trade in or to buy outright.
