I do indeed use K&N filters. I shall remove it, clean the MAF again and see what happens. I too have heard that the residue from these types of filters can or may cause a problem.
Another interesting phenomena: today at lunch hour I hooked up a Digital voltmeter to the TPS and drove to lunch. As reported earlier in this thread, the KOEO readings on the TPS were .85 volts at idle and 4.8 volts at full throttle (wide open). Well today while actually driving the truck, the readings were .91 volts at idle and 1.48 volts with the accelerator almost to the floor. Does this make sense to anyone? I struggle to understand why the voltage readings would be different KOEO and KOER on this application?
Thanks again for the advice on the K&N filtercharger and any other insight that can be provided.
