Hypermax turbo clocking?

Can these turbos be clocked I was looking at doing an intercooler after I get my tranny and 4" exhaust done...I noticed the turbo hat has no way to stick a tube on it If I can clock it straight up then I could get a 90* elbow on it.

And how do you tell what size these are,None of the numbers on this turbo come up on the garret web site if I ever have a problem with it I'd sure like to know what it is to get it fixed, And just cause I want to know what the hell it is.

Makes you mad when companys have enough forsight to see someone may want to add some thing so they make it so you have to buy new stuff!

Acctually hypermax makes an intercooler kit, it comes with a new intake hat. And the real answer to your question is yes it can be clocked. You can see the bolts that hold both the exhaust and intake on loosen them and rotate the housing where ever you want to.

Oh and I think the turbo is a version of a T3

Heres their intercooler

So the compressor can be rotated independently of the exhaust without taking the whole thing apart? I never messed with taking a turbo apart, So I can aim it in any direction I need.

I think the Hypermax inter cooler is way too rich on the price I can build a whole system for less then $350.00 and there system would not fit my truck even if the price was right, All my tubes need to come in and exit the drivers side no room at all on the passenger side of the core support.

Yep, Comp housing has few bolts/clamps. Then you can rotate it or remove it
