what light for underhood?
Ok, when I bought my F250 the bulb was missing from the underhood light, a 194 (same as my cab clearence lights) fits and works, but not sure if it is the right bulb, owner's manual doesn't list the hood light(?)
Is the 194 the right bulb? Doesn't seem very bright.

I'm using a 922 bulb in mine, I believe thats very close to what the factory put in, the 922 is rated at 12.5 wats and is plenty bright to do most checking under the hood in the dark, the globe is bigger that the 194 but fits just fine.
