Leaking Oil

Yo everyone!

Quick questions: 1985 7.5L leaks oil, not bad, but enough to want to stop it.

How much oil leaking is normal, if any? And what are some common fixes?

Also, there is a noise (i know, just one? you may ask) coming from the, what I think, is the AC pump. Any thoughts?

Anyone have a picture of their '85 F250 7.5L engines?

I have an 83 7.5L.

There is a leaking oil pan I never had been able to fix.

The engine is on a stand now so it WILL get fixed , I got the sucker where I want it.

Other than that I never saw much of a leak. My problem was an exhaust leak that just kept on coming back. I think I will weld the manifold to the block this time (Not REALLY!)

Do you have any clues where it might be coming from? Hopefully not a crank seal.

What kind of pictures you looking for? Diagnosis or show and tell?

I deleted the second one. Editing just involves changing an already-existing post.

It could be as simple as a leaking oil pressure sender. Mine was leaking a little over time and in its last few days it was leaking a quart a day. Got a new one (later replaced with an Autometer gauge and sender) and I seriously don't have to add a drop of oil for almost a month. It uses almost no oil, and AFAIK it's the original engine.

Blew my mind lol
