6.0 problem
Hey guys i have question my brother inlaw has stock 06 6.0 60,000 miles was towing about 7000 lbs went up pretty steep hill said it down shifted then made a sound like air was blowing out of something under hood said it has felt like it is lacking power since also said when he steps on it it still makes that sound after he it winds up any ideas would be helpful

He blew a boot/hose off the intercooler probably..... open the hood - he'll find it easily. Clean the inside of the hose/boot and spray it with women's hair spray, reinstall.
When it did it on mine I was back on the road in 10 minutes..... had tools with me. But the metal clamp dented the heck out of my hood! Was lucky...under warranty. Ford replaced the hood.
