My 66 M100 has been a slow project lately for many reasons such as the heat here. Can only work a few hours in the early morning.I've been zeroed in on the rear end.A good friend came off a 64 9 inch with a tru-trac that he's had for awhile but needs to be assembled. He even painted the inside of the housing! He says it's a 3:50 which would be good for me.So,I get new Currie axles, and gather all the parts to assemble like brakes, backing plate bolts, ect.Yipee, ready to build! so I drop the third member in and it dawns on me that I only have his memory as to the gearing.Me thinks me better check that just for my old brain.Unbolt,lift,count,divide...DANG IT!!! It's a 3:89.Since I'm having a massaged cleveland CJ with a C6 and just need road gears this is not what I want.I would like the low 3's to 3:50.And according to my manual one axle is shorter than the other. My new Curries are the SAME length.DANG IT!! My advanced youth should tell me that I can't get hyped up on coffee and put things together.Haha Just goes to show ya that all good things take time... but....DANG IT!!!

LOL! I will send you a pm. I am liking the eco project, the chassis portion is one of my favorites, body work and painting not so much but that is coming up soon. I have a few friends who stop by often to lend a hand now that I have got going on project again. A few showed up again today . . . Finally making good progress. Ready to be put down on ground as a rolling chassis for 1st time!
