460 idling problem
I have a 1987 Ford 460 based motor home. The 460 is equipped with a factory 4 barrel carburator. The engine runs fine when you first start it. As soon as it gets to full temperature, it starts to load up and black smoke out the tailpipe so that I cannot get it to smog. I have rebuilt the carb, reset the float bowls, cleaned out the EGR valve and passages, cleaned and tested the EGR, checked for vacuum leaks and set the timing to factory specs. It still does the same thing once warmed up to full temp. This problem is mainly at idle and just off idle
