Why no dead pedal?

Why no dead pedal?
I feel the need to sometimes lay my left foot on something rather then keeping it flat and often find my self wishing there was a dead pedal, does anyone else agree?

Yeah, those long drives can be that way. Since I use my cruise control while driving I move it around alot. A dead pedal would help alot.

So I just found out the 2011+ have a dead pedal!
