QUICK QUESTION..

What is in the hoses that run from the motor to the heater/ac box on the passenger's side? I starting to pull one off then I saw oil or thats what it looks like.

Will anything leak out when I unhook them from the box?

Thanks guys!

If it is your coolant lines, from what I have seen, most people just use a section of hose to go from one nipple to the other. That was the coolant still flows through the hose. Not sure if it makes any real difference or not though.

Well I unhooked them last night and had a bucket waiting for coolant to pour out.....Not a drop. I lifted the hoses and yellow liquid came out the rad. drain plug ( I was draining the rad. earlyer and still had the drain plug unscrewed.)

So I got another question..

I'm working on removing my bed today.
What's the easiest way to take the bed off?

What have yall done to take it off with out a engine hoist?

I would use my engine hoist but it's holding up a 302 im rebuilding.

If I undo the bolts can I slide it off from the side?

I was thinking about sliding it off from the back but the gas tank looks like it would be in the way.

What if I drop the tank?

Any ideas or suggestions is much appreciated!

I would use my engine hoist but it's holding up my brothers 302 i'm rebuilding.

He's being a little girl about putting it on a tire.

I forgot to mention it's a short bed.
