Photo is kinda small, but the bed lines look funny.
John
That's because on the 4x4's of body style Ford used an older style bed because of the larger wheel openings on that bed. So the beds don't match even though that's how it came from the factory.
Cant see for sure on the first pic but looks like it still has the factory 4wd front fenders on it still most all 4x4's i see have 2wd replacements
I'm still not convinced that F250 4X4's didn't come factory with small fenders. I know what the parts book says. Right now there are 5 F250 4X4's on Craigslist. 1 out of five has large fenders. The other 4 have small fenders that are the same color as the body.
these trucks are over 40 years old alot can happen to these trucks over time fenders could have been replaced as the 2wd ones are alot more common then finding the large opening fenders but i aint doubting that some may have left the factory with 2wd fenders on them i wonder what numberdummy thinks of this man knows his fords

He'll throw the book at us. I have no proof, just what I have seen makes me skeptical.

You know they weren't above putting the 2wd fenders on if the stamping machine was broke down or something. What the book says and what they actually did aren't always the same.
Anyone ever seen one with the 19.5 inch wheels? I've seen 2. One was bought new by a rancher I knew, they might have special ordered them after the fact. Supposedly it came home from the dealer that way.
I spied this clean and classic 66 F250 4x4 last year and took a couple of pics.
All F250 4X4's came with the "wrong bed" (or cab/chassis, stakebed, or flatbed). There was only one length of box too. It was longer than a short box but took a shorter wheelbase than a longbox.
