Whoosh!
Am I right in thinking the Whoosh I hear when the tranny shifts as I kinda' get on it is the waste gate opening?

To me, it sounds like a big rig with air brakes blowing the safety every so often, but, it happens when the engine loads up...like after an up shift.

So I know this is kinda' stupid question...i was just curious...I mean, it makes sense that it's the sound of the waste gate venting, but, I wasn't sure and just thought I'd check with y'all and confirm it's just a normal sound, although I've never heard any other p/u's do it, but, maybe ya' hafta be in the truck to hear it? Doesn't seem like anything else could make that sound.......

Its cool. Your hearing the excess air rushing back out the intake and that's normal

yup. excess air coming out of the 6637 as the engine drops revs.
you do not hear it with the stock air filter and air box in place. but it is loud as all hell with the 6637 in place.
