1953-55 F250
I posted on the wanted page too but this seems to get more action .
Looking for some 1953-55 F250 backing plates in good shape (front and rear), must have pictures. I'm looking for the Bendix style backing plates.
Please pm me with price and condition.
Thanks,
Dan (1oldtimer)

i swapped my front plates with a 53 1/2 ton.i still have the 50 merc 8 bolt plates and hubs, with all the brake stuff on them.im thinking this will fit your needs just fine.
on the back i did the 9" axle swap.i didnt take any of the old axle apart, but they are the 14" drum,8 bolt.dont know whats inside????
let me know if i can help,i dont need any of this stuff so all it will cost is shipping.

I need the backing plates at least, but the hardware and wheel cylinder would be a bonus. I need the backing plates to be for the 12x2 version, so both of your (vintage tin & Kenjh) rears have the 14" and are F350 ???. I'll take Both sets of fronts if both rears are over 12" (maybe I can make one front set work for the rear).
Thanks,
Dan

it seems to me that someone on here said that only the back had 14" brakes on these trucks, that the fronts where all 12",but i could be wrong on that.
my truck and stuff are at my buddy's place so i wont be able to get there until the weekend.
i can pull them and bring them home, take so pics and measurements for you,if all is good we can figure out how to get them to you from there.so let me know if thats what you want me to do????

Did you try Early Ford Store in San Dimas? Heck of a lot closer than MN!
Want pics? 1948/56 Ford Truck Parts Catalog available on a CD from hipoparts.com.
I'm using the original bound paper catalog, and I'm not that far away. Swing on by, take a look-see.
