Its about that time for me to start to get my college/university/tech school choosen. I know what i want to do but i've only found a few schools that offer what i want to do but i would like to find more options. I've looked all over on the net but i've come up short. What i want to major in is Automotive engineering and minor in powertrain engineering for vice versa. Anyway i have had ferris state university and macomb county mentioned (michigan) Just so you know i am a canadian student going to an American School. Also i would like a school that i could transfer to after taking that i can take here near home (calgary AB and area) so i could save money. Anyone have any suggestions? Anything will help.
If it were me I would contact one of the Big Three's personnel department and see what criteria they use in hiring someone in that department. They may even have a mentoring program.
Hey, if you're considering Mich. schools, look at Michigan Tech. I'm not sure if they have specifically automotive classes, but they're pretty good when it comes to engineering. I have some friends that go there. Ferris is a pretty good school, I'm looking at going there in fall, since it's pretty close to me. Good luck!
