When Does The 6.0 Redline
THE REDLINE ON THE TAC SHOWS 4200RPM.
ALL THREE OF THE TRUCKS I DROVE SHIFTED OUT @ 3600RPM UNDER FULL THROTTLE. THE ENGINE WAS NOT COMPLAINING AND SEEMED AS THOUGH IT WOULD GO MUCH HIGHER WITH NO PROBLEM. I AM ANXIOUS TO DRIVE ONE WITH THE 6-SPEED TO SEE IF IT WILL GO TO 4200 OR NOT.

While you are sitting still with the trans in park or neutral, press the accelerator pedal to the floor and hold it there to see where the electronic governor cuts it off. The computer won't let it over speed unless there is something else wrong.

i was just trying to figyre out what to buy it will be the ford f350
dually 6.0 or the dodge 3500 dually with the cummings
just don't know what to do yet
i do have this friends and family thing on the dodge i know NOBODY at ford for the x plan

You should be able to negotiate a deal as good as or better than the X Plan anyway. I bought a new Escape Limited in November under the X Plan for $230 above dealer net, which is what I would have expected to pay anyway.

I HAVE ORDERED THE LAST 3 FORD TRUCKS I BOUGHT SINCE IT IS HARD TO FIND A STICK SITTING ON THE LOT ANYMORE.
MOST OF THE DEALERS AROUND HERE HAVE NO PROBLEM ORDERING ONE FOR $200 OVER DEALER INVOICE WHICH WAS ONLY $420 MORE THAN X-PLAN ON THIS '03 SUPER DUTY.
