Harvest 2012, or, why I love where I live!
I should have started this thread over a week ago, but have been way to busy with running the crew while Mike looks after his wife.
Lot's of people ask why I like living over here on the "hot" side of the state. Some of these pics will maybe show why.....

Some of the equipment we use...
The last picture is Harley running the Bankout wagon (yep, he's helping also...).
I truly LOVE the wide open spaces here. I can see for a hundred miles in any direction, and there are very few people around....................lol

Beautiful indeed. I go back to work in N Dakota next week, I am sure harvest is underway there. My hat is off to you guys farming 24/7.

Great pictures done. Like a colony of ants getting ready for winter. Too flat and open for me but be bad if everyone wanted to live in the same place

Any old tired 4 cylinder diesel engines around that place one could rebuild for a ford truck?

Sorry, we only have LARGE diesels around here, it takes large equipment to farm 5,000+ acres.......
I do have a Perkins 4 cyl I've been saving for a project tho...
