Tach install ?

Tach install ?
Working on a 1978 f100. While I'm working on the dash electronics I was thinking of also installing an aftermarket tach. Was wondering if I can tap into the instrument cluster or if I have to go straight to the coil. I feel like I read somewhere there is a untapped tach connection in the cluster connector (maybe green/white). Definitely could be wrong though.

Hmmm... that is news to me. In regards to putting in a tach, how hard is it ? & does it have instructions ?

Thanks for both of you guy's help. I plan on installing a tach in my truck in the somewhat near future.
