She's only been sitting for 2 days! Started her up, she quit immediately. I tried again did the same thing. I let sit for a second and she started and continued to run. I only made it 3 miles down the road when she quit. Now I'm on the side of the road waiting on a tow truck. Listen for the usual noises during the wait to start cycle (injectors, glow plugs, fuel pump) I hear everything clicking and buzzing as it should. But still no start. Ive changed my icp sensor a few years back already. Checked the fuel pressure using my scanner with key in on position (55psi). Haven't had any issues with her since I changed the icp sensor. Any suggestions on where I should start? 2003 Ford Excursion 4X4 213,201 on the clock.
I ran my diesel 6.0 too low on fuel one time and had the same thing happen. Changed the fuel filters and the one under the frame rail was totally clogged with debris from bottom of my tank. One i changed them, cycled the key on off a few times, she fired right up and was fine. Don't know if you were low or not though.
