bouncing problem

bouncing problem
Alright boys and girls i took my 1977 f250 with a 400m in it to a truck pull today and entered in the small block class, i started bouncing like fifteen feet after i let the clutch out. Now i didnt break thanks to the old ford durability but how on earth do i get over this problem?

I noticed a bit of bounce in my car... I did a tune up and the bounce effect went away. While I was thinking something with the clutch was going wrong, it was really the lack of the appropriate amount of power from the engine.
Not sure if this helps or not but it could be one cause. Maybe motor mounts also? Bad clutches usually straight up slip don't they?
My truck bounces if I ease the clutch to much; it seems to behave better if I simply drop it. I just try and make sure I am not doing so @ 4k or something stupid.
